David Gold

David Gold is the Founder and Managing Partner of Golden Peak Advisors LLC. He has over 20 years of experience as a Senior Executive for 2 of the largest Co-brand card issuers:  JPMorganChase and American Express. David has extensive business development, contract negotiation, P&L management, marketing and partner experience in the credit card, Co-Brand and loyalty space. He maintains a large network of key relationships across issuers, networks and and industry participants. 


Prior to starting Golden Peak Advisors LLC he was Managing Director of Partnerships at JPMorganChase. He led all aspects of the United Airlines Co-brand business, including full P&L management, marketing, media, negotiations and senior level relationship management. He also created and launched the highly successful Ultimate Rewards loyalty program and worked on various other business initiatives. 


At American Express he worked in numerous senior roles across the company including Co-brand, Corporate development, marketing and loyalty where he negotiated numerous Co-brand and other partner agreements.  

Steven Jacowitz

Steven Jacowitz is a Partner at Golden Peak Advisors focusing on credit card Co-brand negotiations and payments.  Formerly he was the Managing Director at Auriemma Consulting Group, a consultancy specializing in the credit, debit, and private label card markets. Mr. Jacowitz has substantial expertise in the consumer credit business, including operations, collections, finance, strategy, and marketing. He has led over 75 private label/cobrand transactions between merchants and issuers.  


Prior to joining Auriemma, Mr. Jacowitz served in a variety of credit positions at major retailers. He is particularly knowledgeable on key trends in the payment and card space and its effects on retailers (rising interchange rates, co-branding relationships, and private label portfolios). 


Mr. Jacowitz spent seven years as the Vice President of Credit at Saks Incorporated. His previous roles included Vice President of Credit positions at Bloomingdale's and Filenes, dating back to his start in the retail credit industry in 1978. Mr. Jacowitz also consulted through his own firm in the mobile wallet space for Softcard (formally Isis Mobile Commerce, now acquired by Google) and Samsung Pay.  He recently completed assignment for a prominent retailer, an international hotel chain, and an online travel agency.
